Currently we have positions for System Verification Engineer for one of our client in Singapore details as below.

Scope

• The primary task of the candidate will be to write and execute system test plans for 802.11a/b/g based wireless networking products
• The candidate will work with the development team to write a thorough system test plans for the products
• Candidate must be able to configure and debug test hosts, write test scripts, execute test scenarios and create test reports
• Simulate customer issues and provide timely feedback to technical support and R & D team
• Should perform multiple system verification tasks simultaneously
• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, must have prior experience as a test engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/ Communications/ Computer Engineering with majors in Networking Concepts
• At least 2 years experience as a System Verification engineer contributing to testing of networking devices
• Good track record of estimating and completing testing tasks on time

Key Skills

• Strong system testing, debugging and Network troubleshooting skills
• Experience and working knowledge of Windows, Linux
• Strong knowledge in TCP/IP, layer 2 & 3 networking and Internet networking at all levels of the OSI
• Knowledge in VLAN, STP, sub-netting, routing, routing protocol, packet sniffing, throughput and performance testing
• Understanding of various network and security features (VLAN, QoS, ACL, firewall, filtering, VPN etc.)
• Understanding of RF communications/ wireless and exposure in 802.11 domain is highly desirable
• Familiarity with wireless network security features (WEP, WPA/WPA2, VPN. Multiple SSID etc)
• Exposure of SNMP based network monitoring tools such as NMS, MRTG and other monitoring software
• Network certifications preferred - wireless CWNA and/or CCNA

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
